Ever wanted to harvest your own honeycomb? An Ideal, or shallow, super is one of the most popular ways to collect and sell honeycomb, thanks to its conveniently sized frames. It’s also the perfect size for storing extra winter honey reserves for your bees.

With a shallower box and frames, bees can fill it more quickly. Available in ThermoGrade™, a long-lasting, lightweight timber with improved insulative properties, it is manufactured in Langstroth Ideal 8- or 10-frame sizing.

It can be used for brood, or as an additional Ideal-sized honey super. The Flow Ideal Super also features our unique V™ design, which doubles as a practical handle.

Each super includes 8 or 10 foundationless Ideal frames, allowing bees to build their comb naturally, while also accommodating wax, wire, or plastic foundation.
